Is there an OpenAI-compatible API with an audit trail?

Yes. Zanii LLM speaks the OpenAI chat-completions API, so you change one base URL and keep your client, and it adds a signed receipt for every call on a public ledger. Streaming and tool calls work as usual, and the receipt hash comes back in a response header.

What changes in your code

The base URL, and nothing else. Requests, streaming frames and tool calls keep their shapes, and errors keep the OpenAI error shape so existing handling still works.

What you get on top

Two response headers: the cost of the call in micro-dirhams, and the receipt hash with a link where anyone can verify it. A key can be set to require a receipt, in which case a call that cannot be proven is refunded rather than charged.
